Some tamariki will talk through their thoughts. Others find it easier to draw, write, make or quietly work things out on a page.

The Being Me Journal gives tamariki a colourful place to explore who they are, what matters to them and what helps them feel good. Across 100 pages, they will find journal prompts, activities, recipes, games, mantras and messages from well known New Zealanders.

It encourages gratitude, mindfulness, creativity and kindness without feeling like schoolwork or asking children to disclose more than they want to.
